Collection of personal or organizational information

In order for MatchMD to provide the full range of services and advantages for your practice or institution we may require access to certain information, such as staff and physician names, phone numbers, pager numbers etc. MatchMD may ask you to provide certain information by filling out and submitting an online form or providing it to our staff for use on the site. If you do not provide the mandatory data you will not be able to register and use MatchMD completely.

How your personal information is used

MatchMD collects your information in order to record and support your practice’s or institute’s communication needs, particularly as they relate to care of patients and the need to efficiently communicate with physicians for that care. Some of this personal information will be accessible through the MatchMD web site to other authorized users for the purpose of communicating time sensitive or critical information to you or other care givers. In all cases your provision of this information without limit authorizes its use on the MatchMD web site.

Your choices with respect to personal information

MatchMD recognizes and appreciates the importance of responsible use of information used on this site. The selective communication with specific physicians is generally effected through the accurate and timely completion of the Call Schedules in MatchMD. MatchMD subscribers can reach all physicians authorized for listing in the MatchMD database, and as such can be reached through MatchMD, or by phone or pager, as long as the information is resident on the site through the SEARCH functions. In addition, MatchMD may selectively provide certain information to you from other companies or organizations that have products or services we think may interest you, if you choose to receive that information. If you do not want to receive promotional materials regarding third party products or services, and you indicate this preference when you provide your personal information to MatchMD, MatchMD will honor your preference. MatchMD is asked, from time to time, to provide documented message transactions to our clients regarding their specific message traffic, especially as it regards documentation for use in patient and healthcare organization records. We do that as a part of our documentation service. MatchMD will release communication information to and from specific physicians only with the approval of the appropriate authorizing parties.

Protection of your personal information

MatchMD information is protected in several ways. Access, by you, to your or your organization’s information is available through a password and unique customer ID assigned to you. We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. In addition, your information resides on a secure server that only selected MatchMD personnel and contractors have access to via password.

Updating your personal information

You have the right to access and correct your practice’s or institute’s information and privacy preferences at any time. You may also access and correct your personal information and privacy preferences by writing or calling MatchMD at:
